Starlingfall is the sound and vision of Jeff Braine, a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter hailing from Brisbane. Originally from the UK, Jeff has been in a number of bands on both sides of the world but is now recording as a solo artist. Recent recordings have been the product of much experimentation, attempting to capture a particular moment in time and as such they are more raw than previous releases. Whilst many were still recorded multitrack, each track is the first or second take - preserving the song's energy and providing a more intimate experience the listener. Snapshots rather than posed portraits.
