Steeplejack had humble beginnings, forming in the Christmas cheer of 2010. However within weeks of performing together the group found themselves under the hot stage-lights of The Esplanade Hotel; to come second in the final round of Gunn's Annual Artist Showdown. Unusually, the band had already built up a solid collection of material and subsequently hit the studio immediately to record their debut Album "The War Inside." The perfect starting platform. Description Steeplejack is a four piece Melbourne based band. An album in the pocket and soon-to-be-released EP, recorded at The Grove Studios (2012) calling on producer Andy Mak (New Empire, Boy and Bear, Silverchair, Birds of Tokyo, and more). But that is what Steeplejack does best.Creating music that brings honest challenges
