Steph Harrison is a songwriter, composer, mother and teacher based in Alice Springs. In 2011 she won the NT Anthem Songwriting Competition with her song 'Stand As One', chosen out of 200+ entries as the official Northern Territory Anthem. Steph draws inspiration from her home in the Central Australian Desert, her love of travel (must be Gypsy blood in there somewhere), Cabaret performance and her ancestry of Germanic composers and inventors. She also suffers from a condition her Grandfather named 'Cleftomania' - a disease that attacks musicians and makes them do strange things.
