Stephan de Wit started his career in South Africa playing acoustic shows in coffee clubs and smoke filled blues clubs. He found solace and inspiration from artists like Leonard Cohen and Cat Stevens. He soon needed a more aggressive output and moved into the grunge scene of the 1990's and performed in bands such as Strange Vanadium. During this time he also wrote music for film and TV and won international awards for films including "The Killing Game" and "Lions of the Kalahari". Being inspired by the art of Audio Engineering he moved to London, UK to study at SAE and this consequently led him to Australia where he lives today. After many years engineering other bands and writing for film and TV, he is back writing contemporary music and launching his comeback with the EP, "Delusions of Grandeur".
