Less than three years ago, Stephen was just another corporate slave with distant dreams of a music career. He has since quit the 9-5, travelled the world and with the upcoming release of his debut single, that dream becomes a reality. With heavy influence from the pop-punk scene, ‘You’re Doing Fine Without Me’ is a brutally honest piece which dives deep into feelings of guilt following the breakdown of a romantic relationship. The spacious presentation of vocal and guitar melodies places the listener in Stephen’s mind, providing an intimate interaction with his internal reflection whilst also inviting the listener to undertake a similar journey of their own.
