Stereo Missile founder Steve Peach has been making music for a while. Starting out playing guitar and singing in a school band, he later progressed to doing music for video, films and tv, and then later to producing for other artists. He gets to work on all sorts of weird and wonderful things, owns and occasionally plays his grandfathers italian piano accordion, a Russian balalaika, a Greek bouzouki, an Arabic oud, and a couple of didgeridoos that he really sucks at. Actually he’s not very good at any of those instruments, but he sometimes records them anyway. Whilst he specializes in electronic music, he has worked on all kinds of unusual styles, from jazz christmas albums, Persian hip hop, island reggae, traditional Greek bouzouki music through to Tongan mambo. He loves collecting unusual instruments and styles, mucking around with synthesizers, and writing about himself in the third person.
