"Spit Fire, Spout Rain" features Steve LaSpina on bass, James Bally on piano, and Alejandro Luna on drums. The album is a collection of original tunes by LaSpina, as well as a few standards. The album is an intergenerational ode to LaSpina's life as a mentor for young musicians, and proof of the continued validity of the master-apprentice relationship within music.
