Steven’Steve is a Canberra-based music project led by songwriter Steve Beeby, blending intimate storytelling, emotional honesty, humour, and a willingness to wander across styles and genres. Known locally as a live acoustic duo, Steven’Steve performs stripped-back sets built around voice, guitar, audience connection, and a love of songs that people know and sing along with. Alongside live performances, the project also explores original music ranging from reflective acoustic pieces and synth-driven pop to darker alternative influences. The songs often focus on small human moments: connection, memory, loss, hope, quiet humour, and the stories people carry but do not always say out loud. Whether writing heartfelt ballads, quirky character songs, sea shanty adventures, or more cinematic material, Steven’Steve aims to create music that feels personal, relatable, and genuine.
