Stevie Bankster is an independent artist from Melbourne, Australia, creating emotionally charged R&B, soul and alt pop for people who feel everything. Blending smooth, expressive vocals with sharp lyricism, Stevie’s music lives in the tension between softness and strength. Heartbreak you can vibe to. Vulnerability with teeth. Songs about self worth, giving too much, sitting with discomfort and choosing yourself anyway. Sonically, Stevie moves between modern R&B and left of centre pop, drawing from neo soul textures, cinematic production and confessional songwriting. Think the emotional honesty of Frank Ocean, the dark pop edge of BANKS, and the intimacy of artists like Sampha or Sam Smith. With full creative control, Stevie pairs his music with bold, symbolic visuals that extend the storytelling beyond sound. Queer, expressive and unapologetically real, he is building a catalogue that invites listeners to feel deeply and heal out loud.
