Stick Figure Opera is the project of Newcastle-based singer, songwriter and guitarist Robbie Macaulay, bringing together some superb musicians to create dynamic, meaningful and catchy music. Stick Figure Opera’s members have played in various successful originals and covers acts for more than 10 years, and have graced the stages of countless venues throughout Newcastle and the Hunter, Sydney and wider New South Wales. Macaulay’s lyrics are emotional, thoughtful and engaging, and are grounded in the belief that everyone takes their own meaning from a song.
