Edit history

Stiffmiddlefingers are a new school punk band from Adelaide influenced by the likes of NOFX, Bad Religion, Frenzal Rhomb, Propaghandi, etc. First started out as a school cover band consisting of just Chris Seddon on guitar and Sean Carlyon on drums to play punk covers. The duo soon wrote the song Re-education although it didn't really fit the style of music which they had intended for the band. At the start of 2010 Nathan Mullan and Josh Hartman were picked up on vocals and bass respectively. Sean broke the news that he was leaving school to gain an apprenticeship in auto-electrical and subsequently Ben Koch was recruited to the ranks after a short break. After playing at their yr 11/12 music night they booked into the Reynella Youth Centre for their first real gig (on August the 20th). Sadly it was delayed until further notice due to a change of organisers and venue. In August SMF ventured to the Adelaide Uni campus to record their second song entitled "All I wanna do is you"
