Still
The Still are a Melbourne based acoustic pop/folk duo from Melbourne, Australia. Featuring the songs of songwriter/composer Nathan Goble, with Sam Lawrence (The Shades) on lead vocal. Their sound is reminiscent of artists such as Damien Rice, José González and Xavier Rudd, with Sam’s unique and soulful voice telling the stories. ‘Safer Days’ is the first single from the Still's debut E.P. due out April 9th, 2021.
Still formed in July 2008 what started as a simple jam has now become a very exciting prospect for its three members. Beginning with Ashley and Martin meeting at vibrations music shop threw teaching the first jam proved promising with two songs coming from the jam. A month later they were joined by Gavin by a chance meeting on a guitar website bringing the third element to the band since then they have written 10 whole songs and played a couple of gigs and looking forward to the 2009 summer with hopefully studio time and more gigs in the not to distant future.
