Stinky & The Rabbits… Conceptualized and birthed March 2007, in one of the weirdest places in Europe you can stumble upon lost and weary- Sarajevo. Sarajevo is geographically located in the Balkans, politically broken and war ravaged. Artistically flourishing, historically part of Yugoslavia (modern history), demographically called European Jerusalem and contemporary remembered after the recent wars and major political corruptions. All three members of Stinky & The Rabbits are from Stockholm/Sweden, but found that the post-war society of Sarajevo was highly inspiring and impressive on their musical creativity, spirits and beliefs. Highly influenced and infected by the indescribable spirit felt in Sarajevo, they decided to make their own private “spiting pot” (Think Lucky Luke), where they could feel free to say what ever they want, about anyone and anything they wanted to, without turning the whole concept into a gentrified tabloid.
