Stone Shadow, pure alternative Aussie metal. Born, early 2009 in the sweltering heat and stink of a swamp on the outskirts of Newcastle. A metal quartet that draws in its listeners and challenges their perceptions of the world around them through a mixture of menacing guitar riffs, pulsing primal rhythms and insightful lyrics. Their sound can be compared to modern metal bands such as Tool and Mastodon, as well as Australian bands Karnivool and Dead Letter Circus. Stone Shadow has a number of original tracks completed and they have an EP available for purchase. Their EP was recorded and mastered at Precision Music Australia. Stone Shadow have received radio airplay for their material as well as climbing to No. 1 on the Triple J Unearthed metal charts. The boys deliver a rock solid intense show with a bit of humour thrown in for good measure. Come out to a show and mosh with Stone Shadow.
