Melbourne born and bred suburban 30-something sound tinkerer and lifelong music obsessive. First instrument was the recorder, which I ditched for piano in Grade 2. Took classical piano up to Grade 7 (practical) Australian Music Education Board, and switched to jazz instruction under Steve Sedergreen for two years. I grew a ponytail (don't ask me why). Post high school in the mid-90s, I became the keyboardist with a pop-funk-acid jazz outfit called Audubon. Experimented with dance music production since around 1997 and have been making tracks and refining my technique in my spare time ever since. Andy Rantzen from Itch-e and Scratch-e hit me up for a copy of a couple of my tracks in my recent past, which was a major honour.
