Brothers and songwriters Martin and Paul Strange left Australia for the UK in 2002 with a young band (Vine) and a huge repertoire of original "classic rock" songs. The Zeppelin-esque style of Martin's vocals and Paul's guitar playing plus, when Martin moves to the piano, comparisons to the grandeur and pomposity of Queen, ensured they received rave reviews and their fanbase grew rapidly. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond their control the band split, but that UK reaction reinforced their belief that their songs have what it takes to create a world-wide impact. Returning to Australia with renewed enthusiasm, they set about finding a bass player and drummer who would do justice to their powerhouse stadium rock! Meanwhile back in Sydney, Jody Daley was playing in several original projects establishing a reputation as one of the hottest bass players in Australia, whilst Jason McDonald had been laying down solid drumming for several concept bands, most notably a Van Halen show
