Born in Canberra and currently based in Melbourne, the past four years have seen Strawberry Prince winning over crowds in both cities with his consistently unique approaches to indie-folk conventions. He has earned particular praise for his lyrics, with those for his debut single ‘Chinese Takeout’ (released in 2022) being internationally published in the American zine ‘Paper Frames’, co-edited by Field Medic. His much anticipated debut album, produced by Melbourne music scene staple Liam ‘Snowy’ Halliwell (Snowy Band, the Ocean Party), is set for release in spring of 2025.
