Street Legal are a five-piece indie rock band blending post-punk urgency, new wave melodies and socially conscious songwriting. Having shared stages with The Living End, Regurgitator, Ash (IRE) and Sparta (USA), the Adelaide outfit have earned a reputation for electrifying live shows and sharp, contemporary songwriting. Following the release of their debut EP Bruxism, recorded with Matt Schultz (Twine) and mixed by GRAMMY Award-winning engineer Hugo Nicolson (Radiohead, Father John Misty), Street Legal return with their latest single The Barassi Line. Mixed by ARIA Award-winning producer Anton Hagop (Silverchair, Powderfinger, Missy Higgins), the track explores power and the stories we're sold about growth and progress, further cementing the band's place among Australia's rising alternative acts and drawing comparisons to IDLES, Interpol and Gang of Youths.
