Strung6teen is a folk driven band who also tinkle with horns, hand percussion, lap steel and violin, just to name a few. Starting back in 2006 strung6teen has participated in the Kool School program three years running, Illawarra, kangaroo Valley folk festivals and gigged at some of the top venues from sydney to southern highlands to the south coast of New South Wales. We currently have our First album up for debut called "Feel the Music". Due for release on.....29th september 2015.

Strung6teen started out with just ben and danita jammin and then Rowan came along and joined in one day, and we decided to start a band, theres not much else to do with 3 people with alot of time on our hands. And Then Dave came along, we thought we needed a good percussionist not taken up by guitar, so we asked Dave and he was more than happy to join. We are all in year 10 and still goin to high school, and thats where we recorded our four songs, in the music room, we even managed to get a door slamming in one of our songs lol. Our music is alot different from any other music in our town, and so alot of people like us, at the few gigs we hav had, we hav had good feedback, and we sold out our CDs, all 15 of em. Our name took a long time to come up with, cause danita was never happy with anything we came up with, the name we have now came about because there are 16 strings in our band, 2 guitars and a violin, so we thought it would fit, and it did, we are all pretty damn happy with
