Edit history

Sub Rosa is a 4 piece rock band from Melbourne Australia, with strong influences in 90's rock, alternative & indie styles. Founding members Melissa & Sarah began their song-writing journey in 2011, and with the help of session players Max & Dhari, they recorded their first 5 track demo. After clearing a few side projects, Melissa & Sarah then began piecing together ( in early 2013 ) what is now the unique and formidable sound of Sub Rosa.

After studying Music Education at UWA, Adrian Kingwell aka Sub Rosa strived to put his classical training to use and melding it into other genres. Sub Rosa strives to put jazz, electro, house, classical and world musics all together into a single musical experience
