In a world where looks and image are everything, Subatomic Cookie Bandits make beautiful music. Their eclectic mix of rock, pop, punk and blues, with a dash of psychedelia and sci-fi, catches the imagination and takes you on a toe-tapping journey. Lead singer Chris writes the band’s songs with bass player Russell, creating emotive, riff-centric music and lyrics that are touching and sometimes quirky. Everyday songs, for everyday people. The band self-released their EP ‘Cookie Crumbs’ in November 2018 through Ditto Music to popular streaming and download platforms. Several community radio stations around Australia have played tracks from the EP since 2019. Subatomic Cookie Bandits released two singles in 2020 - ‘Super Me’ and ‘Why Would I’ with recording/re-mixing at Ian Haug’s Airlock Studios. In 2022 the band are back at Airlock Studios recording an album of their most popular songs from live performances around Brisbane. They continue to write new songs for upcoming live shows.
