Subject Object is the project of independent Melbourne based singer, songwriter and producer Anna Barham Kumar, who has been quietly honing her craft over the past few years. After a vocal recording session, Becki Whitton (Aphir) introduced Anna to fellow Melbourne based producer Melissa Vallence (Arrom) as she felt they were ‘absolutely on a wavelength’ and so began the many time lockdown interrupted journey to coax these first four songs into their final form.
