Substance are a newly assembled duo of hip hop artists; based out of Byron Bay, these conscious lyricists blend the creative styles of New Zealand and Australia, working in collaboration with world-class producers and MC’s . True lyrical substance is at the essence of their music, bringing a balance of politically and spiritually conscious rhythm and rhyme poetry. Their funky fresh flavour, fluent flows and boom bap beats take you back to the cultural roots of the original hip hop movement. Substance help keep the movement alive, bringing a refreshing new age energy to the table. They seek to deliver positive messages of hope and love, shedding light on global issues, while stirring the body, mind, and soul into motion.
