Sulijo is Sue Johnson: a singer-songwriter who'll make you sit up and take notice. Her voice is something else: sweet and delicate in one moment, raw and gutsy in the next, and altogether powerful and vulnerable. On hearing her sing, you might feel like you've stumbled into a hidden small Perth bar to find Sheryl Crow, Lana del Rey, Stevie Nicks and Norah Jones having an animated conversation over cocktails. Her songs are personal and powerful stories, crafted lovingly and cleverly, and delivered with passion, joy and energy. Sue is currently working on her debut EP, due in late 2013.
