With fundamentals honed around inspiration from the second-wave sounds of emo's first golden age in the early to mid-1990s, Sully have laced their sound with an undeniable pop sensibility fringed by evident post-rock and hardcore influences, which all tie together to give the band a cohesive sound all their own apart from the growing army of adenoidal angst-sufferers latching on to the scene's resilient rebirth. - themusic.com.au

Magnetic, synth-driven and seasoned with the brand of festival-ready vibes that you and your crew have only dreamed of, new-kid-on-the-block, Sully serves up RnB, pop-loaded gems ready to send our collective contemporary angst packing. Born and raised in country Victoria, Sully was introduced to the ultimately catalytic art of singing and songwriting when at the age of 14 she joined the local church choir. As a teenager, she grew up on a rich and balanced diet of Destiny’s Child, Usher and early TLC with a love of vintage synthesizers and slick Swedish pop music growing into her 20s. Relocating to Melbourne in 2014, Sully cut her teeth on the local live scene, eventually striking up a friendship with songwriter Evangeline and producer SB90 who would eventuate as her chief collaborators. “At the end of the day, I’ve known forever that I’m completely addicted to the complex simplicities of the pop writing process. Now, I get to throw myself head-first into that love”. Sully’s debut
