Distrosub
Solo artist originating from Canberra. Recording for the project began in 2018, after a few years of jamming in bands with friends. The goal was to find a creative outlet during a period of change and personal growth. As well as being a way of making sense of life, the music is inspired by concepts picked up on from many great indie and punk bands. DIY. Pure Pop. Minimalism. The artists name come from a lyric by Australian band 'The Church', from the song 'Bel Air':' 'And he descends the stairs, he doesn't see The sunburned landlord glares, for all the people He can never be.' Expect to hear songs which are short and not quite perfect.
