After working away tirelessly in Sydney recording studios over the past year, alt band Supahoney are about to unveil the 2nd single from their upcoming second album; “Steve”. The album represents the journey the band have taken since their first album, Zygoat, captured audience imaginations and took them around the east coast of Australia. They received good rotation on Triple JJJ and Rage, and even Henry Rollins declared on his LA KCRW radio program that these guys were a band to watch out for. Supahoney have combined raw vocals and lyrics, unpredictable tempo shifts and heavy soundscape guitar to create an album that is rich in narrative and distinctly Australian. These guys are talented and are about to break through in a big way, with industry insiders starting to take notice. They have collaborated with four-time ARIA-winning producer and engineer Wayne Connelly, who worked with You Am I. Supahoney’s maturing complexity will be an important part of the future Sydney music.
