SUPERTRAIN formed in the heady internationalism of inner city Melbourne in early 2005. After being forced to leave home and country by his father, Guille's (keys) background in the Lima scene had to be transferred to an English context. Arriving with only his luggage and a bunch of incredible songs things fell into place after meeting 'Gorgeous George' (vocals), a roaming bard whose lyrical gifts were immediately evident. After the return of Maradona (guitar) from an overseas spiritual-sojourn the basic line-up was complete. Maradona's Year-12 kid brother, Jonnyboy (drums), was the obvious choice to back the rhythm section. A natural behind the kit, his endless commitment to women and Renaissance History only fuelled the legend. Searching for a bassist proved difficult at first but a perfect candidate was found in Angus 'Toughy' Miller, an old friend of flawless pedigree.
