Thursday October 22, 2009 was an epic night for the debut, independent CD release of the ‘I Give It Up’ EP by Melbourne based Funk/Soul group SURESHOCK. The EP features a cross section of songs that take you from the laid back soul of, ‘Does It Make You Feel Good?’ to the bangin’ futuristic-afro-beat sounds of, ‘Feel It’! while the feel-good-boppin’-ya-head-in-da-car vibe of, ‘Shoop Doop Doo’ smoothly sings out, joined by the bitter-sweet electroesque tinge of, ‘Something For The Children’ finally bringing you to the title track of the EP, ‘I Give It Up’ that is guaranteed to make you shake what your mother gave ya! The EP features cover art by the world renowned Chicago artist Cbabi Bayoc who’s works can take you back through your collection of Prince, Snoop Dogg & Lauryn Hill productions. The group has performed along side artists like New York based a-cappella group Naturally 7, Melbourne comic/writer/musician Eddie Perfect and dance crew NOMADIC FUNK to name a funky few! For
