Surface Detail is a remote collaboration between Rob Staines, Kristian Hill & Clive Brown aka Small Defence and Daily Terrain. Their debut album, Diamond Rain, written and recorded 15000 km apart in Australia and the UK in the global lockdowns of 2020, is a new wave, electronic tale of love and loss on a galactic scale centred around the year 3119.
