Susie Hurley’s take on folk is unique. Her lyrical contemplations, beautifully spun melodies and foot-tapping rhapsodies of percussion and bass instantly tell the listener “this is new.” Combining shoe-shifting beats with a melancholy Celtic influence, Susie’s hauntingly resonant voice is packing out venues in her native Sydney. Together with The Hurricanes, fans can't wait for the maelstrom of sorrowful reflections, through-the-looking-glass imaginings and warm, unapologetic laughter.
