With their powers combined, CK and BBG become SVSSY (say it like SAH-SY); the latest dance act to emerge from Sydney’s underground electronic scene. Amidst the turmoil of the city's strict lockout laws, the project was born from a house party kick-on after an abrupt 1:30am curfew left them high, dry and hungry for late night beats. Descending into an after-hours DIY rave cave, the local DJ duo bonded over a shared love of genre-bending dance music… from house to techno, trap to grime, dancehall to drum n bass, theirs is a world where all good music prevails and no set is complete without a Vogue dance-off. What followed was six months of musical exploration, production lessons and live education at the hands of masters like Mark Ronson, Grimes, Kaytranada, SOPHIE and Elliphant to create what is now known as SVSSY, a production team dedicated to delivering solid dance floor jams and serving serious realness.
