Formed under a full moon with a glass of champagne in one hand and a rose in the other, Sweet Gold call Melbourne home. The influences range from classic 60s pop to 70s punk, imagine The Jam covering the Ronettes - or Iggy covering the Beatles...it's like a 70s power pop band that never existed playing their favourites from the decade before. Romance isn't dead, it just had a hangover.
