Swissy grew up in a household that welcomed a diverse set of musical tastes, allowing her to appreciate different sounds and genres of music, from 60s rock to R&B to Dance and Theatre. Without any formal training, she began playing piano at age 9 and guitar at age 15. She started writing songs in 2003 and draws inspiration from personal life experiences and heart-felt emotions – love, happiness, f...ear, failure and hope. Swissy’s original material and vocal style have been likened to those of The Sundays and The Cardigans. She is known for her angelic voice, sweet melodies, Beatlesque harmonies and lyrics that take you to another tangent. The Philippine-born Swissy, who grew up in Melbourne, Australia, has performed at several prestigious events and venues including the Darebin Music Festival, The National Theatre, Chapel Off Chapel and Manchester Lane. Swissy's music career got a boost when she returned to the Philippines in 2006 and was immediately signed by independent label
