SWITCH1EIGHTY is a Lebanese-Australian born and raised in Adelaide. He grew up in an underprivileged family household where he and his older sister experience domestic violence. This experience spilled over into other aspects of his life, as the artist was continuously in trouble with the law, developed a dependency on drugs and was eventually expelled from his high school. After his mother realized that she couldn’t control the lad with ‘beating and yelling’ she decided to get him as far away as she could from the infamous connections he had establish in his home town and moved him to, Sydney for a fresh start. Surprisingly this worked! 180 got clean, returned to school and used skateboarding and rapping to help turn his life around. He credits his mum for her tireless effort to not give up on him. Today the artist owns and operates a business, he has the support of his wonderful and loving wife and kids.
