T Breezy

Bio history

Distrosub

Australian Aboriginal rapper T Breezy hails from Inverell, NSW 2360, and now resides in Macquarie Fields, Western Sydney. His unique sound full of both aggression and hope is more reminiscent of US trap artists Lil TJay, Tee Grizzley and Young MA than the current Oz Drill focus. T Breezy’s debut single 'Posted' achieves a balance that hasn’t yet been struck in Australia: blending powerful autotuned lyricism with a truly Australian accent to create something distinctively icey and hard hitting. Production is by Utility, with a history of producing music for several Australian artists (Eco$ystem, Kae the Goat, MA Rated) and rappers in the US (El Plaga, DZheep). ‘Posted’ leads into a full scale EP of their collaborations to be released before the end of the year on Utility’s new ‘Trackwork’ label. At 17 T Breezy is already set to be a pioneer and ‘Posted’ confirms the start of his come up.

T Breezy is a Gamilaraay rapper from Inverell, NSW, whose signature style fuses raw aggression with genuine sincerity — weaving sharp wit, community storytelling, and an unrelenting pursuit of ambition into a distinctly Australian hip-hop sound. His debut EP 2360 (2020), produced by UTILITY, announced his arrival with cult lead single Posted — an unfiltered portrait of Inverell life that earned widespread praise from media and radio. The release established T Breezy as a compelling new voice, balancing clever lyricism with deep authenticity. In 2024, T Breezy and close collaborator Walkerboy released mixtape Souths Most Wanted via Trackwork — earning fbi Radio’s Album of the Week on arrival. Lead single ‘What Do’ landed on playlists including A1, New Music Friday AU & NZ, and The Drip, with a cover feature on Local Hype. Pulsing with high-energy percussion, free-flowing bars and Inverell scenescapes, the mixtape is a vibrant testament to the postcode that shaped them both.
