Tate is a 15-year-old singer‑songwriter from Perth. She loves busking, performing, rowing and waterpolo. She hates awkward small talk and people asking what kind of music she makes. She writes about moments for teens: relationships, love, rejection, overthinking, things not landing how you thought they would, and the bits that stay with you after. Her music leans pop and pop‑rock, with bits of country and soul coming through in the way she writes and sings. A lot of her songs tell stories about those in-between, almost liminal spaces and about small things that don’t quite sit right. They try to make sense of what has happened and what might happen.
