I am a Ballardong Noongar Maaman who grew up in the small Wheatbelt town of Wyalkatchem located 187km East of Perth. In my younger years I would often head out bush with my grandparents Kevan & Rose Davis to learn about Noongar Culture and the Traditional Ecological practices of Ballardong Boodja through a traditional Noongar Kaartdijin standpoint, which in turn was later combined with formal training in Western Ecological Practices when I undertook a Traineeship at Wheatbelt NRM in 2011. In my spare time I compose music in my home studio with being fortunate enough to have collaborated with Emily Wurramurra on a track for Triple J to celebrate National Reconciliation Week 2017. I am very passionate about seeing Noongar Culture flourish and restoring my Boodja. Formerly Steady
