Taillight are a Brisbane-based indie-alt four-piece blending driving guitars, tight rhythmic grooves and emotionally direct songwriting. Formed in 2022, the band channel the melodic tension of The Police with the modern urgency of Quarters of Change, creating songs that feel both nostalgic and immediate. Their latest single, “Eternal Summer,” captures the push and pull of youth — late nights, fading friendships and the fear of time moving too fast — wrapped in soaring hooks and propulsive instrumentation. It’s reflective without losing energy, built for both packed rooms and solitary late-night drives. With a growing live presence across Brisbane and a steadily building online audience, Taillight are carving out a sound that sits confidently in Australia’s next wave of indie.
