Taking Berlin are a group of no good, rabble rousing delinquents that have been furiously writing and gigging since May 2012. They call their music Psychaboogie (Psychedelic grooves, Blues licks, Punk frustration, Folk storytelling and Surf vibes). Already headlining venues like The Oxford Art Factory, The Standard, Good God Small Club and The World Bar, they’ve been hailed as “surprisingly good”. Taking Berlin have already independently released a four track EP, a double A-side and a single. But that’s old news. 2014’s EP titled “The Lottery" is out now through Bandcamp, iTunes, Spotify and pretty much everywhere else. It marks a new direction for the band. We recently released a follow up EP “Degenerate Rot” which you can find on Bandcamp also. We’re heading back into the studio immediately. We are four dudes that are first and foremost music fans.
