Edit history

Talkradio is an Australian based, one man indie rock group. The band was first formed in 1998 with only two members. The person responsible for the project is Alex Papas. Based in Melbourne, Australia, Alex is the man responsible for writing the music and lyrics. Up until 2006, he recruited the help of many different and talented musicians for studio recordings. Since then, he has been writing and recording new material on his own, performing the vocals, guitars, drums, keyboards and various percussion himself. He started out on the drum kit at the age of three. By the time he had turned 12 he was acting in theatre and on TV. That led to 2 years of vocal training. Shortly after, he found himself fronting and doing session work for various original Melbourne rock groups. In the mid to late 90's Alex began performing all over Victoria in the cover band scene, has since worked with many of Melbourne's most notable bands and continues to do so.
