Melbourne based 5-piece Tall Shores formed in late 2013 when entrancing frontperson Melissa Mikletic stumbled upon 4 unsuspecting Koalas, they were in awe and immediately swore their allegiance to her, all was well. Tall Shores explore the Australian landscape and the events of its inhabitants through sparse cinematic soundscapes, as an attempt to better understand the depths of internal landscapes and the environments surrounding. Dealing with the fluctuating political and biospherical hurdles of modernity, and its repercussions on practical and emotional expression drives the story woven throughout the album. Tall Shores' latest album ‘Romantics’ is a crafted balance of diverse songs that work together in capturing a sequence of unplaceable feelings and desires imparted by modern life. Recorded by Michael Lillis and Mastered by Mikey Young.
