Edit history

Founded in 2002 by Kristel Blackman, Tantalum is a group of five dedicated women musicians from Melbourne, Australia, who share a passion for original rock music. Easy to watch, and very satisfying to listen to, their compositions have a very hard edge that belies their female authors; their lyrics ring true with stories of life and love, powered along by deep, gutsy, solid rhythms. Tantalum is sisters Kristel and Melissa Blackman (guitars), Cassie McCawley (bass), Anthea Hull (drums) and introducing new acquisition Elysia Agius on lead vocals, with Mel Blackman and Cassie McCawley on backing vocals. Check out their music on www.myspace.com/tantalum where you will find their latest gig guide. ***UPDATE*** ***KRISTEL APPEARS ON MYLESPAUL.COM WESBITE*** Kristel was nominated by My Les Paul forum member Roman Rist to become a My Les Paul Girl - a feature on unique female musicians who prefer to play Les Paul guitars!
