23 y/o originally from England - Grew up in New Zealand and migrated to Australia in 2020. I've created electronic music and DJ'd for 7 years now. I've played at all of the big clubs and supported many international artists in Auckland City NZ and had a residency at AV Club. I've had a couple of small label releases so looking at progressing my sound and releasing a whole lot more this year.
I have grown up listening to music my whole life whether it was at a house party my family were having, to the school sing alongs or to just chilling out listening and learning how to play my favourite songs on the guitar. Music is heavily influenced in my Maori culture and has lead to a lot of who I am as a person. Everybody has that one song that can take them out of even the crappiest mood and turn their whole day around, or take someone back to the time they were the happiest they have been. I try and give people the exact same feeling i get whenever i listen to music. The complete feeling of inspiration, freedom, invincibility, love and happiness all in that exact moment that you are blaring you stereo or headphones. I open and play with my family’s band ‘Boil Up’ who are a reggae fusion band that play the likes of Bob Marley, Katchafire, 1814 and even some reninditions of Amy wine house, Maroon 5 and much more. We play every month at the republic bar in North Hobart in TAS so
