Since bursting onto the scene in 2018, Adelaide’s Teenage Joans have built a loyal fanbase with their raw, unapologetic indie/pop-punk sound. After winning triple j Unearthed High in 2020, the duo – Cahli and Tahlia – released their debut EP Taste of Me, charted in triple j’s Hottest 100, and swept the 2021 SAM Awards with a record seven wins. They’ve since earned multiple ‘Best Punk Artist’ titles and toured extensively across Australia and the US with acts like Foo Fighters, Sleeping With Sirens, Amy Shark and Sum 41. Festival highlights include SXSW, Splendour in the Grass, and Laneway. In 2023, they released their debut album The Rot That Grows Inside My Chest, which charted across ARIA and earned an ARIA nomination, accompanied by a visually rich short film inspired by Alice in Wonderland.
