If you can imagine Dinosaur Jr. as a Sonic Youth cover band, trying to play the music of The Pixies while fronted by Bruce Springsteen, you must have quite an imagination. TELECOM have quite an imagination too, but they harness it for the purposes of writing music, rather than dreaming up farcical super-groups that will never exist. According to random media quotes taken completely out of context, Telecom are: Ace, excellent, in heaven, indie, catchy melody, snappy, post-new wave/pre-Manchester sound, Brit-pop-at-the-beach, songs!
