Started out in the early 90's composing/remixing dodgey electronic/experimental tracks for Sydney's BBS/demo scene. Flirted for a time with recording Ween-esque sounding guitar tunes on a Tascam Porta 02, but thankfully the Portastudio died in the end, and I came back to electronica instead. I love synthpop and early electronica (artists like Kraftwerk, Cabaret Voltaire, Depeche Mode & Gary Numan), 'crossover' acts like Pop Will Eat Itself, Jesus Jones & My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult. I'm also big fan of the Beastie Boys (particularly their earlier 80's stuff), Ice-T's early albums, The Streets, and Australia's own 1200 Techniques (among others). Plus early punk innovators such as Nina Hagen, and The Ramones, just to go off on another tangent again. Spending the majority of the 90's and the early noughties in Sydney & Melbourne's industrial/darkwave scene means I'm also more than partial to a fair few groups in that genre such as KMFDM, Rammstein, Oomph!, Sheep on Drugs,
