Joseph Leslie is an acoustic singer/songwriter from Mildura, where he has been actively involved in the music scene for many years. The frontman of alternative rock band Soul, Joseph has performed alongside many local and interstate/international touring artists of a wide variety of genres, including 360, Trophy Eyes, Worthwhile (USA), Kingswood and Miazma. He has played shows locally and within Melbourne. This new project sees Joseph taking on a whole new approach to writing music, choosing to strip away all the frills and create the most back-to-basics, simple and emotive music possible, using only an acoustic guitar and a book of ideas. Joseph is also touring the EP nationally in December, playing from the Gold Coast through to Adelaide, during which he hopes to reach new people and connect with fellow musicians.
