Tempest Calm is an indie rock band from Perth, Western Australia. Comprised of brothers Callum & Kieran Burne along side Matt McCubbin, the trio formed in 2016 to release their 'then' self titled EP PACIFIC. Their first single 'Edge of Nowhere' took the band from the shadows of their garage rehearsal space and into the ears of thousands of people all over the world. The indie pop hit featured on Australia's Television ‘Network 7’ during the AFL broadcast and in publications including themusic and Tonedeaf. Following multiple releases, the band toured throughout Perth, Western Australia and Asia. After a lengthy hiatus, the band returned as Tempest Calm announcing that they would be releasing their debut album 'Shadowlands' in track listing order throughout the year. The album shares of the brother's experiences in dealing with church hurt, the pitfalls of religion and is comprised of a collection songs that speak to their dealings with rage, bitterness, grace and resolution.
