TEMPLE
originally coming from a singer/songwriter/composition background, 19 year old TEMPLE (real name Abbey Grace), is branching out into electronica, fusing her love of songwriting with her fascination of electronic music.

TEMPLE is a solo project from artist Ben Smith. Ben has spent the last decade running a record label, playing in bands, touring Australia and playing at festivals including Rainbow Serpent, WOMADelaide, Wide Open Space and Strawberry Fields to name a few. Throughout this time Ben has been working away on solo material, while writing for other artists and producing their records. It’s now finally time to share his musings with the world. TEMPLE is an ode to the dance floor. The dance floor, a place to loose yourself, a place to find yourself, a place where unfeigned worship still exists. TEMPLE’s music aims to reflect this. Ben started working in nightclubs at age 17 and will never forget that moment that many of us have had, when you realise that house music is a spiritual thing, it’s a soul thing, it’s a body thing, the repetition and space that allows room for nothingness and everything.
